A giant in every heart
His vision a true work of art
So true his path
So long his trail
Yet all the way he prevailed
In light times when the sun shown high
And in dark times with no star in the sky
So great the legend
So grand the tail
Yet none can fight the death knells wail
We have so much to do, and so little time
To teach, to love, to hold it all close
Now we must let him go, to shine
To shine high, to shine free, to shine clear in the sky
So that his light will never be for nought to you or I
The throne sits empty, the hall is cold
But his light shines on all to behold
We do not fear his work undone
For we know that his
Holy Song
By Yenrx
Silence fills an empty chamber deep.
Crisp silver light fills four eyes of glass and steel
Four paths shine past, all in one direction, lighting the darkness within.
Like four silver sword blades placed in the open to gleam in the bright fire light.
Peace fills theses walls, as deep as echoes across the mountainside
Deep into time, and past memoriam
Such a simple place, but which fill the heart with a treasure that can not be named
For, to name it, would mean taking the power of this place away.
The quiet night, filled with the unblinking light of the silver eyes of heavens far, is broken
The silence retreats to
I am More!
By Yenrx
I am life in general, swimming through other lives and livelihoods. Never being able to stand up for my own right, to say, "I am more!"
Though I know that I will never be more then just a bug on the windshield in the eyes of you. You, who tell me what I should think and feel and become.
And yet, I still have the strength to demand to be more then 'general', I say that life will revolve around me and not the other way around. And surly it will not revolve around you any longer.
I advise against trying to stop me, though I encourage it to test my strength against the worlds and your own reserve. Though, I highly doubt t
Help at Last
By Yenrx
Raindrops come through the window glass.
Ghost hover in the sky.
Another day comes to pass.
And the world tries not to cry.
Singing softly, ever lightly.
Trying to keep sane.
We hold small hands so tightly.
We all hope to stop the rain.
Help seems so far away.
No one seems to care.
"Maybe someone will listen today?"
Has love become so rare?
We all wish for the suns warm rays.
We all cling to a small bit of hope.
We look back at the glory days.
When we all could stand so lightly, instead we hold tight to a rope.
Trumpets Sounding! Horns are playing!
Look, Look to the east!
The rain is stopping! Help is
Forest Mist
How odd, that something so soft
Can cause so much chaos?
How can a simple mist
Trapped in the depths of the forest
Be cruel?
How can something that simply bathes the forest in a blanket
Be mysterious?
It is because of the
Unknown glow.
The glow that sees lands of Elfinheim and their golden curses on human kind.
And yet, their world never opens up for me...
Socks
We all have socks. We got long socks, short socks, fat socks, skinny socks. Even striped socks and socks for Dogs!
And socks have a mind of there own you know, able to plan a way of escaping there own prisons and hiding in the hamper or the dryer for a short reprieve form our rancid feet.
Socks are also vengeful, hating us for out stinking and, often, sweaty feet.
So they turn RED! Red and pink. Or they shrink, or they put lint in our tows. Or, even better, they put holes in the oddest places, making you jump when you touch the cold!
The Jewel
The Jewel center of interest is the eye within the eye.
But what is within the eye of God?
Seeing blindly but never showing what is under our very noses.
A golden sheen of powerful rendering and topaz splendor shining before us all.
A truly gaudy display of power and prestige.
Yet a whole world follows blindly behind that blind eye.
Some red, some yellow, some purple, some aquamarine.
To be seen in such a parade of followers would be a blasphemy.
An Ode to the Moon
You look down on the sleeping earth.
You listen to small children's prayers.
Listening to the silence for all it's worth.
Taking to Heart all the peoples cares.
Adam looks for you in the night.
As he walks though shadows soft and deep.
Eve, she looks at you now in your awesome might.
As she sings her child to sleep.
You've seen so many things on your grand throne.
With your subjects, the stars, in the sky.
You never seem to worry or have to atone.
Never see yourself about to die.
Battles have been lost and won.
Heroes have gone to the Dragon's lair.
But your rule form your high throne is never done.

I was young that day
When the world stopped turning
Now I am old and gray
But the world is still burning
I had no way of knowing
That the world had turned away
Now I am always going
Trying to find home every day
This world is lost to me
But I rule on in this land
There is not much to do or see
But the world will change with my hand
I will bring an age of joy
In this land of ice and cold
Back to the days when I was a boy
So others will not have to grow old
